Tahoe's first annual paddle fest.

Tahoe Paddle Fest will showcase indigenous and non-motorized watercraft from around the world, on the shores of awe-inspiring Lake Tahoe, in a fun and engaging celebration of native crafts, arts & culture. The Tahoe Paddle Fest hopes to encourage children and adults to safely participate in healthy and sustainable outdoor activities and to connect with traditions of past while embracing the future.

The Tahoe Paddle Fest (TPF) will be annual weekend-long celebration of non-motorized watercraft, consisting of watercraft demonstrations, competitive paddling events, workshops and exhibitions featuring indigenous boat building and crafts, and an exhibition with vendors, food, music & entertainment. The event will embrace the cultural and competitive role of watercraft in indigenous cultures as well as modern times, from dugout canoes to standup surf paddling and outrigger racing. We will also promote safe boating and the importance of checking all watercraft for invasive mussels that could destroy Tahoe’s sensitive ecosystem.
